This movie was very interesting. Keeping an open mind on the art style it was very original and also a new creative twist on film making.
That being said, the second movie was simply out of place. It was not a celebration of the first movie or a continuation of tone but it mixed it up expecting the same audience to clap along and love what is there. The fact that a third of the movie was a musical was horrible.
This is like if season 1 of spongebob was a kids show and season 2 was a horror film. What made joker 1 amazing was the tone and tension. The musical parts broke the tension and kept any build up to be relaxed and pointless.
Disappointing due to the potential coming from a legendary first film. You had it teed up but the second film shanked in into the trees.
