Average at best. Unwatchable at worst. Tobias Menzies stands out as Stanton, but he’s comically overused in a Scarlet Pimpernel role as Booth’s pursuer, and so doesn’t touch the heights of his performance as Brutus in the series Rome. Some of what’s here is tripe, historically speaking. Definitely mid-TV
