It was quiet, understated, but very emotional and moving. I appreciated the fact that it highlighted the plight of working women and single mothers trapped in poverty. And it illuminated the desperation of refugees the world over away from the sensational and tendentious headlines, the hysterical news stories. These people live lives of quiet desperation but still manage to soldier on. Kudos all the way around. And the actors don't need awards to validate their superb, extraordinary performances.
