Jackie Hammerton

This movie clearly isn’t everyone’s cup of tea, but it was certainly MY cup of tea. I thought the characters were well developed, the relationships defined and motives for their behavior clearly understood. The scenery/setting, the costume design, the backstory, the foreshadowing… all very well done. I found unnerving was George’s narcissistic personality, and his attempts to isolate and manipulate Catherine. It hit so close to home for me, it was too real and scary. It’s one of those movies that stick with you.
