Though impossible to capture a person’s life in a 2 hour movie, I quite appreciated being reminded of someone who loved this country and was optimistic about the future. I am old enough to have lived through the events covered in the movie and just the historical significance gives you a greater understanding of how important Reagan was in restoring respect for our country-particularly after Watergate. Quaid captured his subject and I had to remind myself that it wasn’t Reagan I was watching. I left feeling uplifted and value the person, as well as the President, Reagan was.
