Firstly, the movie looked promising yet it turns campy and stereotypical very quickly like, Lady Gaga’s character. Secondly, the timeline is hard to understand. For example, set in the late 1970s and the music is from the early 1990s from George Michael or other scenes supposedly set in the 1970s with 1980s music (can’t imagine mistakes like this unintentional). Lastly, the campiness made it hard to feel empathy or sadness as it’s almost difficult to take seriously.
