Simply Excellent. It is one of the best five Sci-Fi series written to date and is equal to Asimov's Foundation series. It opens the mind to the broader possibilities as to how, why and from where we originated, where we are today, and as to what and where this little spaceship (that we know as Mother Earth) and all of its' passengers may (or may not) find themselves in the future.
Though some viewers have expressed that this series of books/movies have to many moments of 'boredom' due to its method of being told, I say not true. It must be told as it is, for "Time" is essential to the story. What is taking place is an on-going, under lying suspense that is buried in every moment of the story. A suspense that slowly builds to knew and unexpected possibilities and/or realities for Spaceship Earth and all of its' passengers.
If one can see, think, reason and imagine, without having to be in a saloon to do so, then the series is a 'must' read and/or film saga for all.
