This movie wasn't my first choice because the other one I wanted to watch on the same day was cancelled. As I didn't want to waste my trip to the cinema, I opted for 'Last Christmas'. I sat through the first half thinking it was going to end up as just another one of those mushy rom-coms. I was sure someone's boyfriend actually left the hall midway through the screening. Somehow I persevered and stayed on. What saved the movie was the clever twist towards the end. Then, I realised how apt the title song was. Highly recommended!

I don't always believe what the professional critics say from their comfortable office chairs typing on their cheap laptops. As long as a film entertains me, it has achieved its intended purpose. I enjoyed watching Gemini Man inspite of all the negative comments.
