This book was very hard to read. It was very slow. There were too many stories going on at once. There were interesting moments within the story and you do stay engaged during peak parts of the story, but getting to these parts is grueling. You stay confused most of the story because the characters all seem very secretive, it’s intriguing when you find out why and eventually all the stories tie together and only end up really being two stories within the book. But it takes 3/4 of the book to get to how these stories are intertwined which makes it hard to want to continue and allows you to easily lose interest.

This book was heartbreaking. It was a beautiful story about true love. This story broke my heart reading it, because you only hoped for a better outcome. You felt for the main character as she navigated through relationships to find her person, only to realize she’d already found him. This is a story about wrong timing and vulnerability of two young souls who want the same thing in life but different things in the moment. A story about how true love supports big dreams, even with consequences.

Aw, this book. This was one of my favorite reads in a long time. It was sexy, romantic, suspenseful, heartbreaking, and it kept you engaged with the unknown. This story was full of manipulation that only intensified as you get deeper into it and you start to form your own thoughts and theories. There were times the story was hard to read because of the cruelty that lies behind secrets. This is a story of a true narcissist and the lengths someone is willing to go to for love or shall I say infatuation.

I enjoyed this sequel to It Ends With Us. I like that it is from two characters perspectives. The book was filled with angst, vulnerability, heartbreak, and so much joy, but also so much fear. Fear of the unknown, fear of new beginnings, fear of the unexpected. I love that this book tells us more in depth of the sorrow of one of the characters from It Ends With Us in his point of view, it allowed us to get to know him more in depth, and why he is the way he is toward the main character. I love the maturity of this series and romance and respect this particular book brought!

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It was vulnerable, heartbreaking, gut wrenching, romantic, sexy, and kept the reader engaged. This book may be hard to read if you’ve been in an abusive relationship or have parents who have been in one. This book keeps you interested because you fall in love with the main character and you want her to make the right decisions. It’s a love letter to one’s self, to remind them what their worth is! I love that the story included the main characters past and intertwined it with her present. It gives you a detailed look at who she to form a deeper connection to her character. I also loved that this story gives each character who are connected to have morals and speak up for what’s right!

I found this book unnecessary in this three book series. To be honest this book had so much back and forth and was a huge tease only to have have an anti climatic ending. The main character Layken also came off quite immature which is a side to her I didn’t see nearly as often in Slammed, I didn’t care for character in this story. There were some very vulnerable moments within the story that were beautifully portrayed, but they could have been added to the epilogue of Slammed. I did also enjoy getting to know some of the other characters and their back stories, but there was a lot in this book that I feel they could have done without. For me it would have just been better to make slammed a bit longer to add in some of these things then it was to write an entire book based of nothing.

I loved this book. It was fast paced and got straight into what the story line was about. It’s romantic, heartbreaking, energetic, tumultuous and keeps you engaged. The characters and their stories are quite intriguing and well thought out. There are multiple things that occur in the story that are curveballs and seeing how the characters handle them with such vulnerability and intent is interesting. I would recommend!
