If you appreciate Videodrome, you will fall in love with this film. The mob mentality during the 1980's horror genre correlating to public crime was spot on. The protagonist's succumbed by guilt and trying to grasp any sense of redemption from a childhood experience was portayed beautifully.
The entertainment level is sensational in this film. Prano Bailey-Bond directorial debut and choice of visuals was superb. Niam Alger's acting really stole the show in this movie.
I can see this not hitting the right spots with the jump scare fans but it will resonant with outside-the-box psychological horror fans. If you like Under The Skin and It Follows...this might be more your alley if I were to recommend this to a friend.
