I've read all his books and just wait for the next one...still reading many other books of course but his are beyond great. I grew up in South Braintree and my cousins lived in the projects. They would never leave even when my father offered them a rental we had. The projects were just as he describes....you don't leave - ever. It's amazing how Mr. Lehane can write what was actually happening. This book is incredible. He is an author that is the best of the best. I'm always sorry I'm at the end. If it's ever made into a movie, Mary Pat has to be Marisa Tomei....she has the right mix of everything Mary Pat is made of...she's the one. Gratefully. Emily Z
