Movie is sexist, makes children see ugly politics, boring, I can easily turn my head away because the story line is so flat, weird, and doesnt keep my attention. The love is not there, the fun is not there. Mulan is some kind of super hero born to be great, Disney depicted this woman as a superhero and giving the message to woman that you need to be born great or else you better know your place in china. I didn't mind they took out all the different characters but they didn't add liveliness to replace them. Watching this movie makes me really miss the cartoon version because there was ups and downs so emotional and heartwarming. This new mulan has no taste and is stronger so she ends up not being very smart. Confusing with the witch and the Phoenix. There's no pheonix in Chinese mythology. Over all I give this movie 1 star for famous Chinese actors and good picture that's it.
