Ann Spradley

I thought the Susan Sarandon character was narcissistic and manipulative. She put her family through hell and then checked out instead of engaging with her younger daughter as she attempted to explain the ways in which she had been damaged by her mother in the past. I understand Sarandon’s character’s need to end her life on her own terms, but her desire for a captive audience was very selfish. Have a final gathering of loved ones but they do not need to know the true nature of their mother’s plans.
