Maria Ornelas

I generally like Kat Dennings, but her character rubs me the wrong way. Like you wanna love her bc she's suppose to be the awkward loveable comeback kid, but maybe I'm just tired of the same generic "I'm really awkward and don't know how to relate but secretly think I'm too cool for things and like that I can't relate to you." This show has funny moments, I'm like 6 episodes in, but I think the dynamic got old for me really quickly. I just don't find her character endearing. She's a total mess. It's like watching an anxiety ridden doormat act out all the internal dialogue she has. It gets old watching someone not learn from their mistakes or grow from them, and just kinda keep doing the same behaviors over.
