I'm not a fan. It misses the point of talent identification and celebrating talent in South Africa. Too much air time goes towards creating back stories for contestants who fail, Proverb descending from a roof, Randall's airhorns etc. I feel like Idols, with such great potential, has lost direction in its purpose. Rather focus on building people up, respecting their dignity and creating a good quality show without cringy gimmicks. Let's keep the standards high in everything in the show.
