I loved the show so much it made binge watching absolutely effortless. I can’t get my head around Kate’s clumsiness and her bad decisions around the fact that she wants Johnny but does all the wrong things with other men portraying it like she is trying to get over her husband but at the same time keeps jumping from one to the other whilst expecting Johnny to keep waiting for her and accept whatever midlife crisis she is going through. She has had perfect life all the way from the beginning, very privileged in every way possible. She then had a husband Johnny with whom she managed to afford a house with a sea view and a pool. Whilst Tully who is my absolutely favourite character, both the young and the older version, had it tough from the very beginning, starting from the fact that she never had a father nor a mother as her mother was mostly off her head, she had to grow up all by herself without anyone guiding her. She is something many women with a past can relate to. Tully is extremely loyal, she values her friendship with Kate more than money itself. Once Kate got in her relationship with Johnny she did start to neglect her friendship with Tully. It seems like everyone has mixed opinion on this but that’s how I portrayed it. Kate seems to annoy me most of the time watching the series, it’s hard to relate to this very clumsy in every way character.

Very interesting series, hope there will be more to come of this
