Truly the least cohesive ending to a series of novels that I’ve so far experienced. All new characters are feebly fleshed out and almost all of the interesting questions raised in the previous novels have been either abandoned or shredded by oversimplified nonsense. Really upsetting end to my favorite childhood sci-fi series.
