Too much focus on the main character of the boy child that goes into "quiet mode" for reasons not very supportive of that type of psychological nature.. he then only writes on a notepad CONSTANTLY to respond to his parents. And you have to sit and watch and wait for him to get done writing. Story is weak, predictable, and a little confusing since now the doll is animated... Almost had the Chucky doll thing going on, but nothing ever happened. No suspense. No jumpers. No Brahms. And then the grounds man is suddenly some evil creeper. Then it showed a flash back where it was supposed to be his hands piecing the doll back together in the first movie... I'm like...whaaaaat... Weird. I give 3 stars because it wasn't terrible. But it definitely lacks that whole vibe of a suspense movie like the original. I hate to say this but this is a typical sequel that doesn't compare to the first movie at all and you won't want to watch it twice.
