Very gritty!! Rare funny moments, but the drama is VERY well written/acted, every actor included. Country music superstars Tim McGraw and his real-life wife, Faith Hill, neither experienced actors, both turn in stellar performances. Writing, cinematography, period authenticity, all are excellent.
