The film came at a time when studios seemed to be going down hill. Aside from the unique coloring utilised, the film used a perfectly artistic storytelling approach which helped the audience connect with the emotions and their impact on the story; and there was so much going on as well… it’s a real work of art

Possibly, basing on other reviews, I believe that this was basically a more fluid 2d animation in comparison to all the others and that is why the historians rated it so... and also, we r rating the film here, not about whether the historians are right or wrong
