I know a lot of people say the book is better than the movie and this is a 100% true for this movie. Not only was the movie rushed the characters had no development over the hour and a half where they could've built something much better. It doesn't do justice for the characters Anna Todd wrote with so much dedication. There were so many important scenes that could've been part of the movie to explain so may areas of the book better, and so many unnecessary scenes that did nothing to add content to the story line. Josephine Langford saved the movie considering how none of Hardin's true character was shown on screen (maybe because of the screenplay or the actor). Hardin's character in the book has so much depth and every action of his has a psychological reason as to why he does it. But the movie fails to portray the depth to any of the characters. It hurts to watch such great characters of such a great book be torn apart and be presented in such a way.
