Licensed civil engineer and logical take on the first few episodes so far: First off, I love the show and am going to see it through, it’s captivating. Obviously there are things I don’t know yet just 3 episodes in, but unless some large revelation occurs, I have two comments so far: 1. I don’t like the thought of possibly drilling 144 stories into the ground by some futuristic digger. Retaining soil pressures are impossible for any man-made structure deeper than, say, 100 feet. 2. A woman does a rope climb of over 100 feet tall to get out from the water area at the bottom of the silo. The best athletes in the world struggle to do this, and 90% of women can’t do 5 pull-ups. Regardless of these two facts, still enjoying it though!
