Katie Perrigo

You cannot look at this series and immediately assume its the same as The Haunting of Hill House. However, I really enjoyed this story and thought it pulled at my heart strings. THoHH is much scarier than this series, but this incorporates great themes and the notion that family isn't always related. Some things in this story do not make much sense (even after they have been explained), but I think it adds to the mystery and heart wrench of this story. Can't wait for another installment of these mini-series!

Such a good story. This show genuinely spooked me, but the story and the characters were phenomenal. Do not expect jump scares or typical horror movie tricks; there is suspense and drama, and you feel caught in memories for a good amount of it. I will be thrilled if they make more mini-series in a similar manner!
