A well-written detective novel with an amazing plot. Hard to put down once you begin.

I did enjoy reading it. But a mere satisfaction is not what I expect when I pick up a Paulo Coelho novel. I expect something out of this world. I expect a transportation to another world. A few hours of pure bliss. Disappointed to say that I didn't get that from this work. It was enjoyable. But it could have been better.

Started reading it after hearing a lot about Christie's amazing works. I have to admit I was really bored at the beginning. It appeared banal, plain and without any substance. It changed once I reached the second part. I couldn't put down the book. My head started spinning. Never in my dreams would I have guessed the ending. The way M. Poirot deduced the facts and joined the dots was impressive. An interesting, simple yet engaging detective whodunit.
