Have watched 56:49 of the series. An absolutely dreadful adaption of the novel. The beauty of the way things were revealed in the book have been vomited onto the screen in a completely perverted and distorted fashion. The Netflix series is obviously just a venal charade of the novel, the author must have been paid a lot of money to allow this travesty to be broadcast.
