HIGHLY RECOMMEND FOR EVERYONE! This is an EXCELLENT and FASCINATING read!!! This book could easily be classified as nonfiction, because— ‘truth be told’—most of what is written has indeed been proven to be factual. Mitch Albom is a master storyteller and I was riveted from the first sentence of the story. Simple yet complex, joyful yet sorrowful, tender yet callous, the book as well as the main characters are inextricably woven together to tell what I feel is cautionary for today’s society. I found many, MANY parallels between then and now. Those who forget the past are certainly doomed to repeat it. As written in the book, the truth most be told and never forgotten. As with other Mitch Albom novels, I will reread this as well.
