I have seen so many poor reviews for this film, we need to stop giving stupid people access to the internet. Or at least just do what Howard did to creeds blog. Ifykyk, emotional film, great character building, no I wasn’t a fan of the girl but that’s because they wrote her to be a morally questionable character, I saw people say “oh we don’t even get an explanation for the humans we see at the end” like really? They didn’t give away the CLEAR PLOT FOR THE NEXT FILM, it’s called a cliff hanger, and if you wanna claim cliche, you’ll have to say the same for every single other film series because it just creates tension and gives you a reason to want to come back. I liked the inclusion of ceasar as this Jesus type because that is what he would be to them, the first of their new race who led the apes from “slavery” to freedom, and just like in the real world history becomes distorted. Exceptionally well made movie, and I can’t wait for the next one.
