The third season of Goliath takes on an issue at the core of survival for Californians. The plot and characters are super intriguing. Telling the story of how deals are made by and with people with money and power and opportunities to hide their crimes as they do them...That's so true-to-life, you can't help but stay intrigued to the very end, when each significant character finally comes to a fitting destiny, except for Billy McBride, attorney with heart, brains and courage who challenges the appearance of success and unearths the ugliness of people who get ahead by breaking the law, sometimes making the law to their liking, all at the expense of unknowing others.
The writing is like gold, especially in the early episodes, and the cinematography works marvels. Color, light, angles, editing -- it's all there in Goliath episode 3.
