This is without question the best show on television for any homeowner. Watching the show has empowered me to take on general home improvement projects that I would have otherwise avoided. It really outlines what professionals can offer, and how the typical homeowner can, tackle some of those projects with the proper knowledge and tools. But there will never be a replacement for experience and the decades of experience that are showcased on this show, really drives home this point. I love how the show showcases the humor and personality that is the life of many of us. We all work hard to accomplish our goals, and the crews of this show, demonstrate the organization, planning, and utilization of so many different tradesmen to accomplish these tasks with the craftsmanship that perhaps only a tradesman would appreciate. Each home project incorporates the experience of engineers, framers, cabinet makers, siders, drywallers, stuccoers, millworkers, foundry workers, landscape architects, bricklayers, ironworkers, interior designers, ect, and ect, , as the list could go on and on. It's just so nice to see a program that not only shows their own talents, but also the professionalism of so many others that do their part to make each project possible.
