The phrase "How do you do fellow kids" never rang so true than this movie. Potentially great, emotional moments were saturated with entirely too much bathos and attempts to appeal to a younger, less mature audience. The overall tone of the movie bounced so hard between traditional matrix story telling and marvel humor. The writers room clearly had conflicting views at all pivotal plot points and character arches. Also, they introduced entirely too many characters and zero emotional bonds were made.
