For me, i see this seems to have taken alot of its elements from a 2017 Kdrama called The Guardians, the theme was expanded on and blown up and made better within this series. A group of like minded ppl w/ horrible pasts and conflicts come together to 'punish' those that inflicted these tragedies and others that continue to do so. Solid story, great acting, and powerful emotions are easily conveyed to the audience. Great show

I watched (Its ok to not be ok) and loved it. Having just recently finished Hotel Del Luna, i can see where the previous drew inspiration from. IU rocked. From crazy different flashy outfits to frequent petulant childlike rages, the banter amongst the 2 leads was great. I laughed alot. A story line that wasn't very original but performed well.

Another Korean Netflix homerun.......the scripts and writing have just been stellar as of late. This was/is full of known Korean actors w/ a lot of success notched in their belts. A dark imaginative story i burned through immediately all i can say is.....I WANT MORE!!!

Another strike from the Koreans. The onslaught of captivating dramas continues w/ The Devil Judge. You are HOOKED right away from the opening theme and song intro. I can't put into words how much i enjoyed this drama so im not gonna even try. It was excellent.

Have to admit, the performances Ki-joon and So-yeon, along w/ the ones that played their kids were so good I wanted to track them down and beat them up in real life lol!! Hyun-Soos character was a whiny sniveling crybaby lamenting at the world and her mother for all the perceived mishaps. Until i started season 2. Poor girl..... This drama is crazy. So many dark and twisted aspects were combined to make to make a superb drama.

This coulda been as good as the Love H2O drama, mebbe even the Kings Avatar. They incorporated the fictional games they talked about and showed actual gameplay to us, the viewers, that aided in giving us an emotional rollercoaster to empathize with the actors/actresses feelings. W/o that aspect, Squid is just another over the top unrealistic super fake love story w/ bad acting, horrible writing, and hardcore cheesiness that Chinese dramas are known for. This is a prime example of why they can't really compete against Kdramas. Historical ones are their strength. Couldn't finish this, its bad.

It had all the expectations of a normal dram-com. The darkness present in the social issues that occurred were realistic but too over the top in a way that would give you a sense of relief knowing it was tv. Strangely enough, it is binge worthy drama and easily draws you in. Why? No clue. Gotta watch and see for yourself.

Goofy comedy. Don't expect too much. Its not bad, it's just basic dram com so its entertaining

Kdramas.....We Americans are quite fond of them. Foreign languages and subtitles require extra attention to......well everything. Full of lots of medical mumbo jumbo but that's to be expected. The overly emotional scenes (good and bad) are well balanced. Lots of good banter intermixed to draw out laughter and liven up some of the darkness when needed. Strong writing, character progression, individual story lines well meshed and intertwined but not overly difficult to follow and the dominant cast members are veterans w/ great chemistry that seemed to grow with each passing episode. This is a must watch whether your newbie or an old timer of the KDramas genre. I just binged watch the 1st season and look forward to each new episode of season 2 with eagerness.

Soooo good........Epic story. Strong cast w/ well articulated dialogue. The banter all around made for quite a few scenes where I was doubled over in laughter. The chemistry is readily apparent between main and secondary cast, that's not something to write off as easy. You could easily see or understand what emotions were meant to be evoked. The music was very good. This is Kdrama at some of its best. This a must watch.
