I should have written sooner but have been mulling this over in my brain for about a week after seeing your story about the tourniquet kits to help in case of a shooting. As a registered nurse, I think this would be a wider-reaching solution. (Well, a patch anyway.): Save your tourniquet and save a life. When you get a blood draw, ask the tech to give you the disposable tourniquet and put it in your pocket or purse. If you were near a shooting, you could toss it out for someone (maybe even you) to save a life. They are biodegradable so you can keep adding and replacing, and not ideally strong, but still could save a life.
