Crocheting Kim

My child has been assigned to read this book so I grabbed the book to read it first. The stereotypes were a red flags for me. And the writing, I know written for young readers but 7th and 8th kids are smarter than this dribble. There has to be a better choice rather than a this book that every character is soooo flawed to the point of hating every single character. This is just not a book I personally like and is frustrating when you try to find a stable plot and story line to connect with. Begining was slow and the ending rushed for a weird conclusion.
