The movie was average . Ok in parts but the characters lacked substance . If you think it would be like the Helen Hunt Bill Paxton version then you might be disappointed. Lead actress was a bit weak in character and the lead actor was to over the top with the yeehars and yyahooos cowboy vocals . The mother had no warmth and was very vague . CGI was ok but you knew in parts it wasn't realistic enough .

Quite entertaining and not to be taken seriously as its a light hearted action comedy . Its one of those movies where the enemy have a hard time hitting anyone when using a gun but the real story here is family and relationships. Arnie is just Arnie and he looks good for 75 years of age . Supporting cast is good and his daughter is a stand out . Negative reviewers don't get the concept I think but we found it enjoyable with many references to Arnies past movies . Just don't take it seriously and you will enjoy it . At least it's something different from the usual dark movies or TV series around . It's like True Lies meets Kindergarten Cop meets Twins
