As a huge fan of Mike Flanagan's previous work, I was made up to find out he'd released a new series. The first few episodes had me intrigued, and I liked how you found out the fate of the characters at the start of the series. That's what pulled me in, I wanted to know what tragedies must have occurred for all those deaths to happen. The acting is amazing! I was happy to see returning actors from Hill House/Bly Manor/Midnight Mass/Midnight Club, and I loved that Mark Hamill was featured as one of the many main characters. Carla Gugino's grim reaper-like character, Verna, was by far one of my favourites. Outstanding performance from her! I can't think of anything to fault this series, it was really well written and acted, and is definitely my new found favourite series in the Flanaverse, alongside Hill House. Side note - If you're not familiar with Flanagan's work, it can seem confusing at first but it's ALWAYS worth sticking around and watching till the end. I highly recommend :)

I have just finished season 2 and I definitely think the second season was better than the first. I felt a lot of emotions while watching the series, so much hatred for certain characters and love for others, so I think the characters were written well. I even cried at one point lol, which I don't in many series. As for the concept, I think it's pretty great and it was executed well. The series grew on me especially in season 2, and I recommend it if you like thrillers and sci-fi :)

Highly addictive show! I've watched it all the way through countless times. It was recommended to me on Netflix just over a year ago and I fell in love with it straight away. It even helped me discover and come to terms with being polyamorous myself! You can't find much poly representation in TV, so I feel represented and seen when I watch it, and that's why it has a place in my heart.

I watched Bly Manor when it came out in 2020 and I've got to say it's one of the most intriguing and beautiful romance/horror series I've ever seen. When I watched it I hadn't seen Hill House (I watched that once i finished Bly) and even though they have their differences, both series have become a personal favourite to me. I even re-watch Bly and Hill House every October, it's kinda become a bit of a tradition since I first seen them lol. I love all the series/movies Flanagan has made and I definitely recommend!

This is my all time favourite movie, the acting is amazing and the storyline is so intriguing and different. Noomi Rapace's acting in this movie is outstanding and now I'm a huge fan of hers, she's so talented! I remember watching this for the first time one night not really knowing what to expect, but I was on edge the entire time and it was an emotional roller-coaster. By the time it ended, I was completely blown away and I knew that wasn't gonna be the last time I'd watch it. Since then it's become my favourite movie and I've watched it countless times, I have so many things I could say about it. But I really recommend watching if you haven't! :)

Great actors and intriguing storyline. I long for the mothers desperation to be reunited with her daughter and it really makes you feel for what soldiers have to go through. As a long time fan of Rapace, I was looking forward to seeing this movie and I was intrigued to the storyline before even seeing it. I wasn't disappointed :)

great movie! personally, i didn't think it was predictable at all and it was so tense. Kate Siegel was spectacular, as she always is, and watching this was a great way to spend Halloween. :)
