I was a casual fan of the FNAF series and only knew little thanks to my children. As the film approached my kids(ages 9,10,11) asked me if we were gonna watch it. I felt compelled to learn as much as I could and actually developed a slight obsession after watching an 8 hour long video of FNAF lore. I can definitely say that having done so made the experience that much more fun. My kids and I slapping at each others shoulders or pointing at the screen when we caught our favorite little details derived from the games. I felt that even with the attention to game lore the story was still easy to follow for the casual fans. Knowing what I know about the FNAF series I sure hope to see more in the future.
