Clever plot... Ineffective dialogue. Also, the way the action unfolded was often lacking, and characters choices didn't always make sense. Too much screaming in the last episode. It was one of those series that you just wish they would have shown you, rather than go through explicative dialogue over and over. David Tenant was good! Stanley Tucci was better, though in a completely fantastical death row.

Yorick and Hero may very well be the WORST written characters on TV in years. They behave like spoiled children with no survival instincts. If that's the point of their characters, what a waste of time. I mean... That capuchin pet? Choosing to starve rather than go meet back up with your mother, the President? I mean, how can President Brown even respond to their characters' choices and maintain any sense of... being president? It's just so many wrong turns. Honestly wish Yorick would take a long walk off a short pier. These characters are astoundingly poorly drawn. Give us more Agent 355, less sniffling brats.

Great acting, compelling main story. This would have been wonderful as a limited series, when the subplots could have been explored more thoroughly, such as the relationship between the archaeologists Mrs pretty's cousins' role and life, and more about Mr Brown and his wife.

Synchronicities. Overlap. Parallel universal systems. Patterns. Noise. Death. Just get out of your head and watch this creepy movie I found invigorating. I think I could only find a movie like this invigorating during a pandemic shutdown. I'm arguing with my husband about it right now.
