Very disappointed. Visually it’s stunning, that’s about all it does well unfortunately. The writing is dreadful in some areas and mediocre, everywhere else. Such a shame. The finale was a joke, trying to throw everyone off with the Sauron reveal (when we all knew it was Halbrand from as soon, as episode 1-2) I would highly advise anyone who loves LOTR not to bother with this (especially fans of the literature) it simply doesn’t do it justice. I really did try to enjoy it, the fact that I had to try, says it all in my opinion. Gutted 😢 (Some of these reviews are hilarious, and quite suspicious. 3 stars at most)
