One of the best horror genre movie hollywood has churned out since a long time after omen. It is not that typical gory filled stupidity which you find often. Rather , there s a strong story that builds all along the way. You can feel that tension in the atmosphere that builds as the priest finds out more n more about the demon and the wretched place. The scenes switching between the mansion and the Vatican just adds to the mystery. Maybe the climax would have needed a little tweaking. All in all , a superb movie with great acting and great direction with a pretty good story.

I started the movie and thought vl give 1 star. Poor flow of scenes, shallow characters, dialogues, wasted Bangkok/ Thailand backdrop ( like they do in other language masale movies). But if u sit through a while, the plot slowly thickens with many flashback stories building depth into each main characters. Thailand is also slowly more explored. The storyline steams ahead with too much rare but likable coincidences and finally concludes leaving you with a surprisingly good aftertaste . Thus forcing me to give 4 stars. I am not sure..maybe 3 stars was also ok. But it really deserves 4 because considering the way it starts, it does the unthinkable in the end. All credits to a strong story and a soul within it which overcomes the poor making.
