This is the best of the best for kiss, the only negative is the production but even that grows on you and gives this album its own unique quality, this is probably some of their more original sounding and even a little strange ( like Aces strange ways solo) at times ( Goin blind) , really not a bad song on it ,if I had to pick the weakest it would probably be "Let me go Rock n Roll" ,"mainline" and "comin' home"which really aren't bad for what they are they just pale in comparison to the rest ,which might be KISS'. finest songs ever put to vinyl, Strange ways , "parasite","watchin'you",and the title track are KiSS at their best and definitely Ace begins to shine with his weird quirky solos and his ability to write chunky near metal riffs like "parasite" . This would be the album that would put Ace as one of the big influences on the next generation an
d let people know , at least when it came to him, there was substance behind the makeup , if you don't have this one and your a casual fan or thinking about checking KiSS out in their infancy, this is the album. Goin'' Blind is the hidden true classic also. That's all I got ,Rock on !
