1 of the best movies of all time! Likable characters, fantastic action, the best time I ever had at the movies. This is the movie that TRULY started the MCU.

This is a movie for Mario fans, anyone going into this knowing nothing about Mario (or living under a rock) will probably be lost. As a fan, I was happy with all of the easter eggs and details throughout the movie, especially the music from the games! The voice actors do a great job in their roles with Jack Black's Bowser being the standout. Unfortunately, the 80s/90s pop music doesn't work throughout the movie, maybe with the exception of "I Need A Hero". Also, this movie needed to slow down to allow character growth and the journey could've used more platforming along the way. Mario and Luigi needed more time together, I think the movie could've been better if they were together. Regardless, I enjoyed this movie, I believe every Mario fan can enjoy this, and I hope Nintendo continues to make more of their properties into faithful movie adaptations. I want a Super Smash Bros movie!
