Minor SPOILIERS for movie below The only reason I am giving this 2 stars is because the acting was great and the score was finominal. I urge everyone to read the book (or listen to the audio book) before watching this movie becaues when I tell you that the entire movie is just bad creative liberty....smh. Like why Todd was naked wrestling an octopus I have no idea.(I honestly think that was just fan service to the Tom Holland simps so they could see his butt.) Oh and side note WHY DID MANCHEE NOT TALK!?!?! Im sorry but you had acses to a talking dog and didnt use it?! And also why was Davy Jr (Nick Jonas) the only one with a southerner accent? And then they have to audacity in the credits to say "This movie was based on the book by Patrick Ness." Like no its not, how they managed to make a book adaptation worse than the Percy Jackson movies is beyond me. (Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk)
