I don't buy video games - and I BOUGHT THIS the same day I played the demo... it is an eye-candy kaleidoscope of colors, well-planned tracks, solid physics, and of course DIRT... but some of the most scenic, ambient, almost tactile driveable DIRT ever thrown on a screen. The lighting, weather, and locations are thoughtful and innovative. The neon colors, although retro 20 years, are a staple of this design - and best of all, no huge legacy story to get involved in. You can go from install to playing the game in less than a minute! What a treat! DIRT5 is spectacular - and this is the longest comment I've ever left for a review - so don't listen to anyone who thinks anything less of DIRT5 than I have here... it's a thrill to get more than I paid for.
