Unimaginable sadness and trauma, it was hard to read. The beautiful pieces of survival at times , the unbelievable cruelty of people , the takers, and few givers. Agnus breaks your heart . Shuggie learned quickly how to survive. This story is still happening to other little Shuggies under our noses ,poverty, addiction , and children should never go together. The sadness hasn't left me yet . I'm thinking it's still someone's life at this every moment.
