For the first 20 minutes I thought I stumbled across horrible acting. But then realized that the awkwardness and stoutness from each of them was well conveyed. It made me physically uncomfortable as a viewer in the dialogue all the sisters had, but especially in the way the dialogue was acted. I felt the actual estrangement after a while. For me, this is a lot like some of my families dynamic and I was able to pull pieces of this film and place them in my own current events. I think the dialogue and acting is a big jump, almost too scripted for those who can’t read between the lines. I think the point of this movie is to really make you read between the lines and form your own opinions on each characters issues. Especially since even up until the last second they have a hard time even breaking barriers to have opinions of each other.
