I love this film! This is the perfect Christmas movie. It has Melissa McCarthy on form, it has the wonderful Paapa Essiedu (who can do no wrong in my eyes), it is funny and it has heart. Yes people, tick, tick, tick. I laughed and I teared up because this is everything I want from 1) a Richard Curtis movie, 2) a Richard Curtis Christmas movie and 3) a stella cast. So, my fellow Christmas movie connoisseurs pour your favourite drink, open your favourite snack and enjoy, enjoy, enjoy! If I had 1 (cheeky) wish it would be a few outtakes at the end 🌟🎄
