Its okay-ish... but the thing I liked about Ash and his companions was that it felt like anyone could be him. He was a kid on an adventure and learning along the way.
This magic pendant stuff makes it feel different. We can't really imagine ourselves being Liko, he is special... We watch now to see if Liko is okay.
