Garnet Meldrum

Great acting and story telling although very chilling to think this is based on a true story. Got a bit confused with the constant references and switch-backs to the past ( Joseph Smith’s history), but I guess necessary for those of us not familiar with the Mormon faith. Had me glued to the screen from start to finish and thinking about it for a long time after.

Rather over the top. Starts off as a serious enough war movie, but then gradually turns into a gory horror movie with a predictable plot and no surprises and no detail. I’d give it a 2 out of 5 purely for entertainment value.
