Yikes - we're men really this sexist? And some women too. Fabulous performance by Brie Larson (and Lewis Pullman). Really enjoying this series (only at episode 5). Haven't read the book yet. My only criticism is that almost all the characters are either good or bad (mainly on the sexism dimension). Surely real people are more complex? As portrayed on the fabulous The Morning Show series - which was very entertaining while having complicated multidimensional characters.

Wow! A gripping emotional roller-coaster. I'm a tough guy (ha ha!) but Margaret Qualley's mesmerising performance as Alex had me in bits from start to finish. Andie MacDowell (Margaret's real Mum) is superb as Alex's crazy Mum. And how cute is Rylea Nevaeh Whittet as the 3 year old Maddy at the heart of the story? I can't think of a better emotional drama nor a more moving performance than Margaret Qualley's in this. It helps put one's own problems in perspective.
