D'Onofrio who is hands down one of the best actors of our time, is also a director. The casting is brilliant and I loved the script...and I don't go easy on Westerns. One of my favorite shots is of Rio and Dave Rudabaugh, you'll know it when you see it but that was an amazing shot choice. This is the 1st film I have seen D'Onofrio direct and even hours after I watched it, it's still sitting with me. I'm selfish because I never want him to retire from acting, but he sure as hell better keep directing because the "actor's actor" is clearly multi-talented.
